Roman’s basketball website

An e-commerce website – Academic UI Project

Project context

This project involved designing an e-commerce website for a basketball training business offering personal training, group sessions, and team-based programs. The website was designed as a sales-driven yet brand-oriented platform, supporting both merchandise sales and training package purchases.

Project goal and concept

The website was designed independently and included an initial discovery conversation, competitor research, wireframing, and full UI design. The focus was on creating a clear and engaging shopping experience while maintaining a strong and credible brand presence for the coach and the training program.

Target audience

The target audience consisted of teenagers interested in basketball training, as well as their parents, who are involved in decision-making and purchasing.

Content and structure

The website included an e-commerce section for selling team merchandise and training packages, alongside an informational area presenting the coach, training approach, and values. The structure balanced sales-focused content with informative and trust-building elements.

Platforms and tools

The design was created for web, tablet, and mobile experiences, with attention to consistency and usability across all screen sizes. All stages of the design process were completed in Figma.

Outcome

A responsive e-commerce website concept combining sales functionality with a clear brand identity, tailored to a youth sports audience and their parents.
